About the conference:

The 2009 Workers' Compensation Educational Conference will be the seventh conference in Oregon. In response to numerous requests from participants in our workers' compensation system for more training and information, WCD originally brought this conference to our great state in 2000. The conference format was originally developed by the International Workers' Compensation Foundation (IWCF) and is offered in several states around the country. IWCF is a nonprofit organization established in 1988 to provide research, education, and communication to the workers' compensation community. The Oregon conference is sponsored by IWCF with coordination by the Workers' Compensation Division. A variety of concurrent sessions and informational booths allow participants to get the answers they need. Participating vendors show the latest in services, equipment, and materials. The conference also offers educational credit hours for insurance agents, vocational providers, attorneys, claims examiners, disability management, and claims managers.
